You can talk to other squad members when they're in proximity. You gotta know the game/map enough to instruct your squad, be a communication relay with other squads (only SLs can talk to one another over radio. Even though I know the ins and outs of what a SL can do it's still hard to be a good leader. A competent Squad Leader is a must and they're hard to come by. And some just make supply squad.Īlthough its biggest draw to me also its biggest drawback. Some form mortar squad that fire across the map (enemy location given by the other squads). Some build defence in and around the objective that also serve as FOB where you can spawn. Aggressive squads that cap flag and attack enemy flags. There's many different types of squads as well. Ofc you can leave the squad (and you WILL because of varying quality of SL) and join another one. Pick a role and stick with that squad throughout the game. Karma almost has daily videos on it.īasically you join a squad. There's not many content creators for it but NANO, Karmakut, OperatorDrewski, BigFry has some good videos of it. If you like the type of game where you spend 40 minute preparing for something only to die by a random stray bullet and starting again at the spawn, I invite to play SQUAD. Squading up with friends is one way to remedy it but not everyone plays the same game at the same time. It feels like everyone's in their own bubble.
People talk in COD in consoles at least, COD's unpopularity in PC notwithstanding.
It's just the game feels so empty in both BF and COD cause nobody talks in those games. I'm not particularly against any types of FPS games tbh. Where I'm from (and to most PC players imo) "stick to COD" is like an insult.
